THE COUNTRY HOUSE THAT REVEALS THE HISTORY OF ANCAIANO (SPOLETO)

The Baron’s Mill is our country house in Umbria (located in Ancaiano, which is a village in the municipality of Spoleto). It is divided into three spacious apartments, each with three or four storeys: a living room, a dining room with a fireplace and a fully-equipped kitchen on the ground floor; two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor; a hobby room / bedroom and bathroom with a hot tub in the basement. The layout of each apartment is available on our website along with extensive photo galleries of all the rooms.

We would like to point out the peculiarities of each apartment starting with “The Granary“, where a long and magnificent arched stone ceiling dominates the bedrooms on the first floor. Another distinct feature of this apartment is the typical, semi-submerged mill pit denoting where the water turbine of this old mill once stood. “The Spring” is worthy of a special mention for its full-size Centenario style billiards table and its dining room which can hold ten / twelve guests. “The Olive Tree” should be commended for its exceptional brightness, picturesque bathroom and delightful loft with exposed ceiling beams.

The exceptionally thick walls make each living space homely and cool during the summer months.
